The first week

Sorry it has been a while since we last posted. But all of you mama's out there understand how busy you can get with a new baby. Speaking of new baby, I have the world's cutest baby. Every day I look at him and think God makes all things fearfully and wonderfully. When Jackson was first born I looked him and started crying. I was crying because I was afraid I couldn't and didn't now how to be a mama. It is truly amazing how God makes us women to have that nature just instilled in us.

Jackson is now 11 days old, man how time flies, it seems like yesterday I was telling Scott that I was expecting our first baby. I have off work until the beginning of February, thank goodness. I can't stand the thought of having to leave him and going back to work. My mom keeps telling me that I need to count my blessings as far as having a beautiful healthy baby, and a good job and Husband and not to dwell on the thought of going back to work. Boy I'm thankful for a mom who always has good advice.

The past week and a half have been busy. The Friday after we were discharged from the hospital Jackson had his first Doctors visit, mainly a weight check. Jackson's weight dropped to 8 pounds 8 ounces. We then went back on the following Tuesday and he weighed 8 lbs 11 oz, and I have to take him this coming Tuesday for another weight check. My feeling is he is gaining weight fine, according to how much he nurses. A special thanks to my Mom and Dad for all they have done to keep me sane during that last bit of pregnancy, and for the first week after Jackson's birth. I couldn't have made it without out you. Oh, and also my Dear Husband needs a huge thanks for putting up with miserable, hot, grumpy pregnant wife. He was so understanding. Love ya Babe.

Here are some long awaited pictures of our adorable bundle of Joy!!!

Merry Christmas,

Scott, Suzanne and Jackson

Love all the pictures! Especially the one under the tree. I remember having that same feeling after Mollie was born - how in the world am I supposed to take care of this little person? But you're right - it comes naturally and you learn as you go. Thanks for posting all these picures!
