It's Been awhile, I'm So Embarrassed :~)

The World's Most Adorable Baby Boy

Well it has been 2 and a half months since I last blogged.

Each time I think I'll sit down to blog I have something that comes up. Just in case there are blog lurkers out there that don't know what I do for a living, here's what I do.

I'm currently a Registered Nurse at Miami Valley Hospital, it's the only Level One Trauma Center in the Dayton area. I work in Intensive Care as a clinical nurse, three 12 hour days a week. As most nurses know there is a lot of continuing education that has to be done, especially if you work in a specialty unit. Some weeks it seems I have no time to myself because these classes are all in addition to my regular hours of work. Some days I like my job but most of the time I just want to be at home with my baby.

I am also the wife of a wonderful husband, Scott. This past weekend he worked so hard to surprise me, by sanding the walls in our bathroom, an all day job. He also went to Family Christian Bookstore and bought me another Willowtree figurine for Mother's Day and a book called, "Changing the world one diaper at a time." Thanks a bunch Babe. I love you!!

I have the most wonderful privilege to be Jackson Scott's mama. HE has brought so much Joy into our life. He is ham. Let's see, since my last blog update he now weighs around 20 -21 pounds, he wears 12-18 months clothes, and size 4 diapers. For being five and a half months, he is a biggin. I love his chunky little thighs. To bad chunky thighs aren't cute on adults. IE: his mama. Jackson has also learned to sit by himself, of course with a few topples. Just this last week he started babbling, it sounds like he is saying dada and mama. On the day he started doing it, he did it all day long, he just loved hearing himself talk. ( he takes after his dad on that one) hehe.

Scott and I have been attending Financial Peace University, this is Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace Program. It has been eye opening and educational. We have enjoyed it. Tonight at 7:00 we are headed off to the fourth class out of 13.

Well, until the next post have a great day, week, month or 2 months!! HAHAHA
PS: thanks to my sister Amy there are pictures on my blog

Cute kid. FPU is definitely interesting. I've never been through the program, but we have been to a 5 hour seminar going through all the lessons. He is funny in person so it wasn't too bad.
