Let's start with our trip to Family Camp meeting. It was a great time and God really helped us has a family. I think that is the point of family camp and everything. Jackson had a great time playing with the other kids. Scott and myself were pretty happy with how well Jackson played with the other kids. Just to show you how worn out Jackson and dad were here is a picture just to sum it all up.</div><br /><br /><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5401083091389186642" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5zjPNU6SkQh-Pj_1uynMTeVkOUBWHOjJRPcvMUkDafktFPFC52XbBa1KYOOL-sosa08L1eyTaX9Imtgy0KTZW5e0_hyphenhyphenfn_v0fH1txEvu7Nl_4dclQCZmAv08UDwCZmQM0AA7y3VEZEdI/s320/DSCF0305.JPG" border="0" />The next wonderful trip that we took has a famiy was to the Natural History Musuem here in Dayton. We thought that Jackson might enjoy it but only came to find out there was few things there geared to his age. We managed to have a great time though. The only negative thing that happened was when Jackson was running thru a wooden tunnel that was set at different heights and smacked his head at a full run at one point. Scott wishes he coud have taken a picture of seeing a pregant women jump into this kids tunnel. Here are a couple of pictures from our trip.</p><br /><div><br /></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5401086177874253426" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4YkE_19PYxLmtF77lK1ey0uN_22BfKWjBf-ZJl9j8M1BOvMEWqwCOfI0rUZEeGulTxy8iSHZGbqHyRhwpkX-gA20sjrPmpPjYQ-H3O9MxXALRhf7wKJTaJ6ORvf5oM0MVlWMqdzHnyQw/s320/DSCF0314.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5401086174089331378" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxMgv2r6uK8th2E-Blgem5Kjbuh6ghXkGeC9cUezN-eDfsVMzMs2jXr6iwlD4CI7UP1XHH8YU2vYT7ZotF75AhUy46_wzGHaGr54EY2hOkcuAqXZ1MATbqCrJ8eLqZAk1SUEm7NbjNGHY/s320/DSCF0311.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><br /><div></div>The next trip was to the Columbus Zoo. We went with Scott's brother and his family. It was a great time with the only problem being that Jackson was a bit to young in our minds to fully understand what he was looking at. Here are a couple of pictures from our trip.</div><br /><br /><br /><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5401088850576147554" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYI9mOi2abkhHZfugCztXJbhyphenhyphen8jfy_PYhFnf-HAPtHhP3lSapNwpWZsudsYJ1gBvNCostyy3M5-cWyNXWOIxGlDoN8aoA9wAWIoa7MAmnlpPNi6OxW1zuO3g4MrZzfzVtlZN4DzYIBIus/s320/DSCF0387.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5401088853449410802" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2tE3cOt1kAFglOQpoOgSSox9zU901NaXJWui12zrBKjSMzsvnAwA8QVRs0k6L-Z4aXNwIOH6B5bWzrhi8H-tP1NX1_SlUJVcRCqTEKNZpbZEvKs6WKZdWsQsLcI8qIRvdiHwVhXcq1A8/s320/DSCF0392.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5401095509072907778" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgP__gwcw_q-jQNAjA2PpdrcBMgBAejInXnvMJsyB0YvDxj3mrEw-BDesMGYr_odMsYB4x1PjP4EvBKb5mldEHGAEcq0pSo9M4Exu_3olrxA_aiw-SbOVj2OoymeiUBw-rb5fHeL7IdEE4/s320/DSCF0402.JPG" border="0" /><br /></div><br /><div>We have also prepared the room for Madison's arrival. I will not begin to tell you all the fun we had painting a blue room for a boy to a pink room for a girl. My dad and Scott where the lucky ones that got to paint this room. They started on a Friday night. After they got done with one coat on two walls a problem 'popped' up. We alays wondered why there was a chair railing aroung the room. We found out this night. What seems to have happened is that, they placed wall paper on the top portion of the wall. Before they moved, they must have painted over top of the wall paper. There were bubbles in numerous spots. They called it a night when they saw those bubbles. They were trying to come up with an idea on how to fnish this room. Scott went to a local home improvment store and got some glue Saturday morning. When he went back into the room he noticed something about the walls. The bubbles had gone down over night. He decided to just finish painting the room and worry about peeling the wall paper down he road. He is hoping that Madison will never want to change the paint color. Here are a couple of pictures of the room.</div><br /><div><br /></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5401093452340256658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1JDhyphenhyphen92yAhQI5vnfl7FJpMcyDdbM2j6AGW85ta4VUTQddAMKTLiILYf9CkjyFOzRtOsVNimfghZnq6tlRZ3OabluFvdDDxCPwMgwqge23i09LuRHWVdgIpe9anGQ6MW7JPhWhS34EejE/s320/DSCF0472.JPG" border="0" /><br /><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5401093447561798594" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJv_b4D0K_Lpgeg-qmIArcvEdV4e5u0qIaHxG4dfak_fUeeHO8kz8zhGRKSv9ePkdNoaZSxDxsNWVC0vLNjN8X5_SpUU88SK84Ws6PgBtx2bG4RCZbo3Ck_Cll9ID32_MJvSAlTu9oqeA/s320/DSCF0471.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5401093441892452434" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTh-QgUMSnjln2N5yhw8pf04jPilR6FVigW6MUvNh4VidZd37qlKQSRT9GzIeTUQ8UshL59XVrcPkbJU0DoAJ3JIQKQnRBdTPHDHrCbvP72PjfxTjmCIqX6JiKsCgq01oLDPSG8E5nUaA/s320/DSCF0468.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5401093439090109954" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpyDNhIm-CEkBoRgd1DxVViypr6Kbn7JiNsFVqkqIX9WRS8ya5c8zFpz1TuGgXfqU2J6A9Ee4mZBARVMGkxyROEGU1y9HOL4sstS1zkN1SXI07iNg73xmaWqOE6lAwFBi-GXnGRA_aCPc/s320/DSCF0466.JPG" border="0" /><br />Okay, I guess it is time to get to what everyone has check in to see. November 2nd, we went into the hospital to start the induction of Madison. After what seemed like hours of labour at 4:29 pm Madison Grace Caplinger was born. She was 8 lbs. and 9 ounces and 20.5 inches long. Thankfully she weighed less than Jackson. This would make you think that this labour would have been easier. That is what I thought to. Even after 2, yes, 2 epidurals the pain was extreme. The first epidural when it was placed it got bent at the end not allowing it to work. Scott made the mistake of giving me his hands to squezze. He changed the brakes on the rear of the van Saturday and cut his hands. I broke open the scabs on his hands. Sorry again for that. The reason for the pain was that she was pressing against my tail bone. The doctor came in and asked if she had time to change and I told her no in a very firm voice. When she was born it looked like she had strawberry blond hair but the longer she has been with us we have noticed that she actually has blond hair with possibly a tinge of strawberry but not much. I guess it is time for us to post the first pictures of the new addition to the Caplinger/Loper/ Franklin Bible Methodist Church family.</div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5401106775557361538" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgM_44J3uztyVHCahAtyHEQZZeAEvGm_QBMLgUARn_5V999M3SnKCVcCmAlYxuO69a-HfNJ0o4QsU8l3lRkDqx4YhtdYRGo7N35x1sEGcWRyEmu72s4gEXEyejEd09gQyTnQlqRqLaKAuA/s320/DSCF0484.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5401106786620999730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEasXWgaZN5HK1e66XMiS9fLircrSuQOmarkkr1HqBHHZ7vZjGXlP2-1ElbI2SEAl66yBoUDmkew_XwwLaEzG7CZTvXlcnArQNERawPB4EoXKuwcmDqgm1b2mT3IW12L8lmbq2yuzFpMs/s320/DSCF0493.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5401106777656298738" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRChLUxLkYhlGpOKRDIwynH8ypsKpNt3b4Om67OI0ZbKKN7iiSo7uVO_27UekzOelYwueDpNi1UPK4_cbvDuAssv-E041HfZGrXISy-UrlbDhyphenhyphen6vUpKtRzwfM8dJn9n1iHsBCRIx6j0dQ/s320/DSCF0489.JPG" border="0" /></div><br /><div></div><br /><div>The biggest worry that we had was how Jackson would react with Madison. We were praying that God would help him with accepting her. The first time he saw her all he could say was baby. He also gently rubbed her head an held her hand. But the nicest thing was when he slowly moved in and gently kissed her on the head without anyone telling him to. Each day I wake up I keep thinking it can't be. We loved you so much, well we still do. Heaven is now a much more special place since your passing. Why did you have to go? God only knows that answer, and we have to trust God. I must say that this has been one of the longest weeks but yet the shortest weeks in my life. I am so glad we made it to Grand Rapids to be with Heather as the shock settled into reality. Its still so hard to believe that Our precious Husband, Father, Son, Brother and Uncle was taken away from us at such a young age, but Randy you were ready to meet God and thats all that matters. We miss you terribly, I don't ever think there will be a day that goes by that there won't be tears. But for now we must all make ourselves ready to meet Jesus, so that one day we will see you again. <br /><br /> Love and miss you,<br /> SuzanneThe Caplingershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01007369679828336571noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3975456437233537775.post-82286571764638183782009-06-30T22:40:00.002-04:002009-06-30T22:43:43.609-04:00What been going on!!Well as usual life has been busy. Jackson is growing and is becoming more and more active. He loves to run his momma ragged! A new thing he does is saying, "Huh" when he knows he is doing something wrong. I had been cleaning all day, I was very thirsty so I opened up a can of diet coke. Well I came into the kitchen for someting and left my diet coke sitting on the end table. WRONG THING TO DO. About 5-10 minutes later I said to Scott I haven't heard anything from Jackson in about 5 minutes. Scott went to check on him thinking he was in his room playing. But no he was hiding behind our recliner quenching his thirst with a nice cold diet coke. Whats so funny is he loved it.<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5290791031051744658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRko9MhyMHlF3sl0eaAe-kQm0d0Esg60BWN5cMrntTXq8hOupnUsCUdyUSHJ1vOxISN5n79KMLGD-55hc3ZRcG2wXXhmuo-SQ6_dH79TDRVfYohQLW0xL4mrq6nFKZfwSYAA9rYXhp5EQ/s320/DSCF0065.JPG" border="0" /> Thus the face when I took the diet coke away.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5290791036552693794" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIzOmWA0JD2iLmhsp7EgWya8EDBsZY1MiJMwMS9MlN5aM4_Ym0vC62YK44fKDFHUcoxOkXKw8F9JF4xOxuKztg-XKfyn8xmhkNZ3KBNHCubQN635EUTUivEs4_6mBuBQEjPm-rhpxshc0/s320/DSCF0067.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><div>Sorry its been a while since I last updated, but things have been really busy around here. To start with I been making adjustments with my new hours at work. I usually work 4p-12:30a, but during the last few weeks of December I was lucky to get by 1 or 1:30am. Which any of you mamas out would know that if you have early rising children, there's no rest for the weary. And by the way Jackson is an early riser. I do love my new job though. It's no were near as stressful as ICU. I do miss some of the excitement at times. Well on to better topics, like<br />Jackson.<br /></div><br /><div>Jackson is the typical rowdy 13 month old boy. He is extremly busy and has his mama hopping. Jackson started walking when he was 10 months so 3 months later he is running, and running good, that is away from me. Mister Jack celebrated his first birthday in style on December 4. We had his bithday party on Thanksgiving night so all the family could be there. He devoured the cake, and made an extreme mess. He also had his first haircut on his first b-day. It looks so cute. My little baby is growing into a little man. </div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><div>Now that I have more time on my hands I'll try to post more often. Thanks so much for not giving up on me.</div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div></div>The Caplingershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01007369679828336571noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3975456437233537775.post-22620976884412161112008-11-17T18:53:00.004-05:002008-11-17T21:04:39.136-05:00Well then....I am not going to offer any excuses! I am EXTREMELY embarrassed, however, Jackson is a handful and I don't have time to update my blog because I am always working! He is such a joy to have around! We can't imagine our life without him!! :) He will turn one on December 4! I can't believe it!! He is growing up way too fast!!<br /><br />He is walking around (much to nana's chagrin) He likes the one cabinet that is NOT child proof! He also likes to get in the kitchen drawers and rip out all of the baggies. lol.<br /><br /><br /><br />Since I last posted, I have transferred into a different department and will start working part time the second week of December! I am going to a different shift and I am very excited to spend more time with my little "baby."<br /><br /><br /><br />We are in the process of getting new windows installed into our house. We bought the windows and my brother Randy is installing them in his spare time. He has spare time between working his job, working at the church, being a husband and daddy and delivering pizza! LOL! I don't know how you do it! Thanks Randy! We really appreciate it! :)<br /><br /><br /><br />I am looking forward to seeing my little pregnant sister Joanne coming next week! I am so sorry, I know there is no excuse for me not blogging. With my 3 days a week 12 hour shifts, every free moment I have is used catching up or playing with my fast growing little buddy. I can't believe he is 6 months old now!! He is getting SO big! He doesn't get any attention though! (just joking.... he is Scott's pride and joy not to mention mine as well!!) He has his first tooth and I think he is very proud of it! He babbles a lot and he loves papaw George! He really has brought a lot of joy to my life and if you asked him, Scott would say the same! He is definitely worth all of the times he wakes me up crying, or just wanting to play! He is a little rascal! Of course he gets that from his dad!! :) Here are some pictures to catch you up with this "little" man! ;)<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5211427734078939442" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmcsfHXxu89MmPr2L8r17SXxa2iPFk5Py0O56aHymatlC9cwUNHcnkxVJJSlmZ9OfhG7MzerGsjss10Q9Dsj57LiZ3BbzKVXfyl6L6hYJ7T3b91ljGk7Ngdu2iAoAs-iErNgK_xHt3RCU/s200/Jackson6months.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div align="center">This is Jackson's 6 months photo</div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5211425194138774562" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGtEDOWtme2QWwZlDqglG1bA-KHPkl53zb3PGQorj8KwWQzQRMyHy9WijZ7yy22-IUT6I-I-SegEFnpC04HaJKB2lm5YtBWqsqRl9fQN6WZwtd0-lHr8kMXd3efWqxEiCWuaN_utoLWX0/s200/DSCN560212330002.JPG" border="0" /><br /><div align="center">Here jackson is getting a bath in Aunt JoJo's sink!</div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5211425196948026594" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_u6b1j5JisgrAYU_7HydHAdDfi5cgLhDeWFV6jWc72LdgtwMwVI5yzyw8NS8zp7vLAwwB5_IvrAxsKgA4VYgNSryhLoHdM5T61WDdAdppmAgNNJNLP7U2DgvM61p0izem9PDuBZK2Usc/s200/DSCN560312340003.JPG" border="0" /><br /><div align="center">Hello! Just in case there are blog lurkers out there that don't know what I do for a living, here's what I do. </div><div></div><br /><div>I'm currently a Registered Nurse at Miami Valley Hospital, it's the only Level One Trauma Center in the Dayton area. I work in Intensive Care as a clinical nurse, three 12 hour days a week. As most nurses know <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">there</span> is a lot of continuing education that has to be done, especially if you work in a <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">specialty</span> unit. Some weeks it seems I have no time to myself because these classes are all in addition to my regular hours of work. Some days I like my job but most of the time I just want to be at home with my baby. </div><div></div><br /><div>I am also the wife of a wonderful husband, Scott. This past weekend he worked so hard to surprise me, by sanding the walls in our bathroom, an all day job. He also went to Family Christian Bookstore and bought me another W<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">illowtree</span> figurine for Mother's Day and a book called, "Changing the world one diaper at a time." Thanks a bunch Babe. I love you!!</div><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5199586771754871458" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzAxLywAEz-aqAKQEKAFR2IiW4JqRO_ogsbW25PW2N6_oWZpyNQO-f_o4MUUIa3M3cD1zNamwRcGX6SlmsROQyv4uJft21OxMlIuZqhg882hQZRjca_jll4XRxGiFDr8ssntqe8jr0GHM/s200/DSCN558711770006.JPG" border="0" /><br />I have the most wonderful <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">privilege</span> to be Jackson <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">Scott's</span> mama. For being five and a half months, he is a <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">biggin</span>. I love his chunky little thighs. To bad chunky thighs aren't cute on adults. Much has happened since the last time we updated. Man time flies when you have a baby sucking it up. Jackson is now three months old. He is acting so much older than that though. He is sitting in his walker, playing with toys, and constantly loves to stand up. He is such a busy boy.<br /><br /><embed pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" src="http://picasaweb.google.com/s/c/bin/slideshow.swf" width="288" height="192" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="host=picasaweb.google.com&RGB=0x000000&feed=http%3A%2F%2Fpicasaweb.google.com%2Fdata%2Ffeed%2Fapi%2Fuser%2FCaplignerChatter%2Falbumid%2F5175553786911830625%3Fkind%3Dphoto%26alt%3Drss"></embed>The Caplingershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01007369679828336571noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3975456437233537775.post-72987444976342409682008-02-06T22:27:00.000-05:002008-02-06T22:59:50.452-05:00Attention Ladies<div><br /><br /><div><br /><br /><br /></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgePmd6RGLVkdUusR7zF_JKczM_2B-dhHETFZsD3SgV0-evjDqQHXHEmMFsPB2cazJ-uOBUTdijTlMsI6Zk8wiTw7oyqKb35ngh8ZokgIWwCzB1m3FqcpE94ZIHjeD3JQXh8kAwoF5BCWU/s1600-h/P5260065.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5164079272659352514" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgePmd6RGLVkdUusR7zF_JKczM_2B-dhHETFZsD3SgV0-evjDqQHXHEmMFsPB2cazJ-uOBUTdijTlMsI6Zk8wiTw7oyqKb35ngh8ZokgIWwCzB1m3FqcpE94ZIHjeD3JQXh8kAwoF5BCWU/s200/P5260065.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div>I am sorry that it has been awhile since my last blog. I think I am pretty much learning how to balance it all. I am going to post some new pictures of Jackson that I think you all will enjoy. He has grown so much over the last few weeks. On Feburary the 4th, Jackson turned two months old. He went to the doctor for his two month check-up and shots on the 4th. Everybody thought he was adorable. Everyone kept asking how much he weighed so we weighed him on the UPS scales he weighed 12.5 pounds with his clothes on, so minus his clothes we figure he weighs 12 pounds already at 5 1/2 weeks of age. </div><div><br /></div><div>While pregnant with Jackson I gained a whopping 45 pounds. At present I have lost thirty pounds and am working diligently to lose the rest. (But I think she looks great even now, Scott) I am currently walking with a friend from church who also just had a baby. We are walking three days a week at the local mall. It has been a good time to get to know her and a great time to exercise. </div><div><br /></div><div>Here are some pictures of our adorable baby boy because no one checks for updates but only pictures of our son. ha ha ha ;)</div><br /><div> Jackson's 1st Pro Shot<br /> <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5154018398354652962" style="DISPLAY: block; But all of you mama's out there understand how busy you can get with a new baby. Speaking of new baby, I have the world's cutest baby. Every day I look at him and think God makes all things fearfully and wonderfully. When Jackson was first born I looked him and started crying. I was crying because I was afraid I couldn't and didn't now how to be a mama. It is truly amazing how God makes us women to have that nature just instilled in us. </div><br /><br /><div>Jackson is now 11 days old, man how time flies, it seems like yesterday I was telling Scott that I was expecting our first baby. I have off work until the beginning of February, thank goodness. I can't stand the thought of having to leave him and going back to work. My mom keeps telling me that I need to count my blessings as far as having a beautiful healthy baby, and a good job and Husband and not to dwell on the thought of going back to work. Boy I'm thankful for a mom who always has good advice. </div><br /><br /><div>The past week and a half have been busy. The Friday after we were discharged from the hospital Jackson had his first Doctors visit, mainly a weight check. Jackson's weight dropped to 8 pounds 8 ounces. We then went back on the following Tuesday and he weighed 8 lbs 11 oz, and I have to take him this coming Tuesday for another weight check. My feeling is he is gaining weight fine, according to how much he nurses. A special thanks to my Mom and Dad for all they have done to keep me sane during that last bit of pregnancy, and for the first week after Jackson's birth. I couldn't have made it without out you. Oh, and also my Dear Husband needs a huge thanks for putting up with miserable, hot, grumpy pregnant wife. He was so understanding. Love ya Babe. </div><br /><br /><div>Here are some long awaited pictures of our adorable bundle of Joy!!!</div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div>Merry Christmas,</div><br /><br /><div>Scott, Suzanne and Jackson</div><br /><br /><div></div></div>The Caplingershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01007369679828336571noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3975456437233537775.post-52215894885941701192007-12-08T11:23:00.000-05:002007-12-08T11:35:45.401-05:00The beginning of a new lifeHello everyone. Suzanne has asked that we start a blog to keep evereyone in formed on the daily changes with Jackson. Lets start with the basics though. December 4th at 3:51 a.m. our lives changed for the better. At that moment God gave us the second greatest gift of all time, our son Jackson Scott Caplinger. We tried to prepare ourselves for that moment but it all failed to do the job. Since that moment we have seen such a change in him. Whenever we hold him in our arms or in our sight a sense of overwhelming joy floods both of us. At the same time though we have come to realize that we serve am Awesome God. I never fully understood the love of God til now. I still remember looking at him when I first prayed with him in my arms. He looked at such peace. Everytime I mentioned his name he would open his big blue eyes. By the end of the time of prayer he was sound asleep. It struck me then that is how we should be when we leave the place of prayer at complete peace no matter what. I have learned that a child is s great way of seeing spiritual things a fresh and a new.<br />I know that I have rambled on but how can you stop the feelings that you have? I hope that this blog will keep all of our family, that also includes all of our friends for you are our family, in the know about the process of our family growing.<br />Love always and God bless you,<br />The Caplingers.<br /><br />P.S. Please dont hold any mistakes against us has we start this blog. Any suggestions are welcome though.;)The Caplingershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01007369679828336571noreply@blogger.com5
